WYKD believes in a unified community and the healing benefits of yoga for everyone
“Dāna दान = Sanskrit and Pali word for the act of cultivating generosity”
At WYKD our aim is to make yoga and mindfulness accessible to everyone in our community.
The broader aim of WYKD is to improve the physical and mental health of our participants. There is plenty of evidence about the benefits of yoga and mindfulness for physical and mental health.
We design our schedule so something is accessible to all ages, bodies and backgrounds of our community.

Most classes are held at the Bay20 Community Centre (71 St Marks Road, London, W10 6JG) which is run by our community partners North Kensington Hearts & Minds
The principles of diversity and inclusivity lie at the heart of our project. As well as our regular yoga classes we run classes both for adults and children so that their parents/guardians can practice yoga simultaneously .
Togetherness (COMMUNITY!)
Yoga means unity and reminds us there is more we have in common than separates us. We spark connections in our classes and we want to continually bring people together within our local community, which we call home.
Respect
We meet people where they are and treat them as equals with dignity and an open heart.
Integrity
We do the right thing even if it is challenging, and never compromise on our mission, free yoga taught in beautiful spaces by qualified and compassionate teachers
Yogatonin
Yoga is a natural mood booster. We bring joy to our classes by encouraging and uplifting each other and students to see their potential on and off the mat
